Juha is Juhani Aho’s novel first published  in 1911. Marja’s everyday life is hard work around the house. She hears from a visiting merchant that in Carelia women's life is easier. She finds it hard to believe that, but she can not resist the temptation. What happens when the young wife decides to leave her aging husband and run away with the handsome visitor?

This edition, part of the Finnish Easy Reading series, is written in simplified Finnish, suitable for readers with intermediate Finnish language skills. The book contains also vocabulary footnotes and a practice section with questions and vocabulary exercises.
